This is a very small portion of the mating dance we watched.

Albatrosses at Kaena Point

The highlight of our Kaena Point hike was watching the albatrosses. We were mesmerized watching two of these albatrosses engage in a mating dance. It was just like watching a National Geographic special, but we were right there!

The perfect wave

Bonnie and I went on a wonderful hike to Kaena Point on Valentine's Day. I was lucky to catch this wave with the sun shining through it.

A Note from Heather

I thought I would share with the world what a wintry joy it is to live in Idaho. (No sarcasm intended, believe me). I am always amazed that when you think its as snowy as it can get, wait one more day and you experience yet another level of winter.
