Hooray For Spring Break!

Spring Break has finally come, and me and Mom are pretty excited about it. Two whole weeks off of school! I still have to wake up early though, to go to 7:00 tennis practice every morning. Today me and a couple others had to run 70 sets of lines to make up for 2 practices that we missed last week for our high school choir concert. Oh well, I'll live- the running actually wasn't too bad. Our choir concert with the Honolulu Symphony, BYU concert choir, and a couple childrens choirs was great. We sang "The Mass of the Children" which was about 60 pages long.

Note from Heather

I thought I would try some new styles to get more dates. What do you think of this one?

Albatross Mating Dance

This is a very small portion of the mating dance we watched.

Albatrosses at Kaena Point

The highlight of our Kaena Point hike was watching the albatrosses. We were mesmerized watching two of these albatrosses engage in a mating dance. It was just like watching a National Geographic special, but we were right there!

The perfect wave

Bonnie and I went on a wonderful hike to Kaena Point on Valentine's Day. I was lucky to catch this wave with the sun shining through it.

A Note from Heather

I thought I would share with the world what a wintry joy it is to live in Idaho. (No sarcasm intended, believe me). I am always amazed that when you think its as snowy as it can get, wait one more day and you experience yet another level of winter.

Our parking lot before being plowed ..... and 1 day after being plowed!(6" more)
There is too much snow to handle

The campus crews are even unable to keep the sidewalks clear

This guy's smiling:) After crossing the street, I need to climb in these tracks to get to the other side!
